
George founded Thompson Wealth Management in 2005 in order to put into practice the principles of objective, client-centered financial planning and financial stewardship. He started his career with Smith Barney and has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, helping clients build their dreams in a variety of market conditions.
A graduate of Pepperdine University, George holds a B.A. in Business Communications and a Professional Designation in Personal Financial Planning from U.C.L.A. He is the author of multiple books, including: Millionaires in Training: The Wealth Builder, Set-4-Life: The Diary of a Champion, and co-author of The Total Package: The Keys to Acquiring Wealth and Walking in Divine Health. His new book entitled: Ready, Set, Grow – The Wealth Cycle is designed to advance one’s financial portfolio from right where they are. He is a frequent public speaker on the topic of financial stewardship and has presented to national audiences.
George is very active in the community, and sat on the board for the Los Angeles Urban League and LAUL Young professionals for over 15 years. He has served as treasurer for the National Urban League Young Professionals (2004-2007) and President Los Angeles Urban League Young Professional (2003-2005).
He is currently the pastor of Finance and Stewardship at Faithful Central Bible Church (FCBC) under the direction of Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer. His mission is to teach and empower every believer to be good stewards over their time, talent and treasures.
George currently resides in Los Angeles, CA with his wife Kimberley and three children.
